NumOwl does not require an account. Most calculator activity stays in your browser, including history, favorites, and saved calculator records.
What NumOwl stores
NumOwl uses browser storage for features that need to remember something on your device. That includes calculator history, favorites, saved result data, and the position of the floating scientific calculator.
This data is stored by your browser. It is not tied to a NumOwl account because there is no account system on the site.
Calculator history and favorites
History entries are meant to help you return to recent calculations. Favorites only store the calculator ID and the time it was saved. You can delete single history items, clear history, or remove favorites from the site controls.
Some calculators may avoid saving detailed inputs when the values could be sensitive. A loan calculator, for example, should save a short result summary rather than a full financial profile.
Sharing and downloads
Share buttons may create a page link, open your device share menu, or prepare an email link. If a calculator offers input parameters in the URL, the page should make that choice clear before sensitive values are included.
Download buttons create files in your browser from the result shown on the page. Print actions use the browser print dialog.
Contact messages
If you contact NumOwl by email, the message goes to [email protected]. Use that address for corrections, questions, or feedback about a calculator.
Please do not send private financial, medical, or account information unless it is needed to explain a calculator issue.
Third-party services
NumOwl may use basic website infrastructure such as hosting, domain, browser, or email services. These services can process technical information needed to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and request logs.
If analytics, ads, or other third-party tools are added later, this page should be updated before those tools are used in production.
How to clear local data
You can clear saved calculator data from the History and Favorites panels where those controls are available. You can also remove NumOwl site data in your browser settings.
Clearing browser storage may remove local history, favorites, saved result data, and floating calculator preferences.
